Upcoming FY2025 E-Rate Deadlines and Form 471 Workshop Registration
Good afternoon, E-Rate Community, and Happy New Year!
Here are the upcoming FY2025 E-Rate filing dates/deadlines:
January 9th, 2025 – Close of FY2025 Admin Window – at 11:59 p.m. ET. This is the period before the Form 471 window opens when schools and libraries can update their EPC profiles.
January 15th, 2025 – FY2025 Form 471 Application Window opens at 12:00 noon ET.
February 26th, 2025 – FY2025 Form 470 Application deadline at 11:59 p.m. ET.
March 26th, 2025 – FY2025 Form 471 Application deadline. The window closes at 11:59 p.m. ET.
I have completed the schedule for the FY2025 E-Rate Form 471 workshops, offered via Zoom Meeting. With the additional Category 1 services added for the upcoming funding year (bus Wi-Fi and Off-Premise Hotspots), and the fact that FY2025 is year five of the current 5-year Category 2 budget cycle, and we anticipate more Category 2 filers this year, the sessions will be split to cover Category 1 and Category 2 separately. This will allow time for questions and discussion. Each session will include a step-by-step walk-through of the contract module and how to create funding requests.
Please note that each session type is offered over several dates to give you options on when to attend, with each session starting at 9:00 a.m. and should conclude by 11:00 noon.
