Prevention Services Survey
Identifying prevention-focused programs, services and supports in Ohio schools
According to House Bill 166, section 3313.60.24 requires Ohio school districts to report on each building, grade kindergarten through 12, on the types of prevention-focused programs, services and supports used to assist students in:
- Developing knowledge and skills to engage in healthy behaviors and decision-making;
- Increase awareness of dangers and consequences of risky behaviors: substance abuse, suicide, bullying and other harmful behaviors.
The following survey provides a template that guides districts compliance with HB 166 and enables the Ohio Department of Education to collect data on prevention-focused programs, services and supports implemented in Ohio schools.
