Data Manager Training – ELA Monitoring and Completion Webinar
Friday, Oct. 18, 2024 12:30 – 1:30 This webinar is for data managers and administrators responsible for facilitating Fall 2024 Early Learning Assessment (ELA) scores and data reporting. This session will provide participants with information for preparing the data reporting spreadsheet and the upload process.
The Early Learning Assessment team will be available during the following open office hours to answer questions about reporting:
PSE Open Office Hours – Wednesday, October 23, 2024, 3:00-4:00
ECE Open Office Hours – Thursday, October 24, 2024, 1:00-2:00
ECE Open Office Hours – Thursday, November 7, 2024, 1:00-2:00
Fall 2024 Assessment Window & Data Collection
The Fall ELA assessment window closes on November 14, which is the last day to collect assessment evidence for the fall window. The data collection period for the fall assessment window will remain open until December 6 at 11:59 p.m. to allow time for teachers and programs to enter ELA data on the spreadsheet template and upload it to the secure portal. After December 6th, programs cannot submit data for the fall assessment window.
There is no additional clean up window for data managers this year. Programs should review the data prior to submission to ensure that the information is accurate.
It is a local decision how data is collected and entered into the spreadsheet template, and who will upload the data. Programs may choose to aggregate the data and upload a single file for their building, organization, or district to ensure that all required reporting is complete. Aggregating the data at the building or program level is recommended for data managers who want to monitor the accuracy and completion of the data that is submitted.
