Dear Early Learning Assessment Data Managers,
Thank you for your continued efforts to support the early care and education of Ohio’s youngest learners. The following message contains important information about the KReady system closing for last school year and reopening for the coming school year.
- Data Managers have until close of business July 13 to generate learning progression reports from the 2019-2020 school year. If the school had any teacher enter ratings for spring, we recommend the data manager generate the SKB and Learning Progression reports so that districts and programs have them in the KReady system archive next year.
- Due to the significant reduction in the number of school days, the Early Learning Assessment spring 2020 administration was not required for any Department-funded Preschool Special Education or Early Childhood Education preschool program. While not required, programs had the option, at their discretion, to complete the assessment with some, or all, of their students. This information may be reported in EMIS or the Enterprise Application System; but, again, it is not required. The Spring ELA data collection window closed in KReady for teachers on May 14. Teachers can no longer enter spring ratings. The system is not open for a summer data collection.
- For schools and programs that choose to report ELA ratings in EMIS, the spring Early Learning Assessment Collection (FY20) (2020AGBSP) closes August 28, 2020. You can find that in the EMIS Data collection calendar.
- The KReady online system will close on July 13 at the close of business and reopen a few days later for loading teachers and students into the 2020-2021 ELA administration.
